They have lovely prints that gift well to someone with a home office, a friend who moved into his or her first apartment and the walls are empty, or your down to earth sibling who likes subtle colors and low key vibes.

Icebreaker: In our humble opinion New Zealand’s Icebreaker is the best possible active merino in the base layer world. We have tried 8 different brands with either 100% merino baselayers or 80%(or higher) blends and these are our favorite. Three years of wearing them all winter, washing and drying them, the seams have maintained and the fabric has not pilled. Icebreaker has enjoyably designed leisurewear and activewear as well as gloves for outdoorsy type. 

Comrad Socks: The best thing for your travel day since sliced bread, compression socks made with responsible material that will encourage circulation and can help reduce inflammation. Wear them on the plane or in the car on the way to the slopes. If you want to try skiing in them we highly recommend you do. It’s game changer.

Sol alpaca: A company dedicated to fair trade alpaca wool. They have a mission of bringing affordable, yet sustainable natural fabrics to you and your loved ones. With a link on their main page to the discounted outlet site, they have amazingly priced goods. Wonderful cashmere quarter zips and scarves, beautiful made to last coats as well as gloves and has. This brand ensures a lovely winter gift.

Skin products and Soaps

Vanman: A company with transparency as one of it pillars, their CEO sends out a periodic newsletter with his thoughts from the road and has built this out of true passion and drive. Products include sunscreens and deodorants, as well as toothpastes and soaps. They use natural and creative ingredients with a goal to take down big industries that use cheat codes and shortcuts in their recipes.

Kate McLeod: High end skin care products, elegant and delightful blends bring a sensual, pleasant aromatherapy after you shower, along with all day moisture. This company is focused on sustainable options for packaging, ingredients, and are open about where they are sourced.
